Una beca completa para un investigador mexicano aceptado en residencia en el David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, quien realizará labores de investigación enfocadas en el país en las áreas de educación, salud pública, desarrollo sustentable, gobierno y medio ambiente;

La Fundación también permite la continuación de importantes trabajos de investigación con becas parciales en otros Institutos, Centros y Escuelas de Harvard University.

The Research Fellows we fund are of this profile: Med School undergrad, residency completed, PhD completed.

 POSTDOC OPPORTUNITY

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is currently accepting applications for its prestigious Lawrence Fellowship.  Applications can be submitted through our website:  http://fellowship.llnl.gov.  They must be completed no later than November  3, 2008.

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's prestigious Lawrence Fellowship is once again soliciting applications from your most promising rising postdocs.  The Fellowship was established to provide outstanding postdocs an opportunity to pursue cutting-edge science and stimulate cross-fertilization of ideas.  The successful candidates have freedom to pursue world-class research with ample resources to support their efforts.  The Fellows will interact with scientists having a wide range of expertise.  The Laboratory is committed to making their experience at LLNL positive and rewarding.

This three-year Fellowship is awarded to candidates with exceptional talent, credentials, scientific track records, and potential for significant achievements.  Typically, two to four awards are given each year.  After their three-year term, the Fellows may consider any career option, including staying at the Laboratory.  Fellows will choose original and independent research in one or more aspects of science relevant to the competency at LLNL.  Research areas may include many branches:

 TWAS, the academy of sciences for the developing world – www.twas.org – is an autonomous international organization founded in Trieste, Italy, in 1983. TWAS represents the best of science in the developing world. Its principal aim is to promote scientific capacity and excellence for sustainable development in the South. Since 1986,TWAS has been supporting scientists and institutions in developing countries through a wide range of programmes that focus on scientific capacity building largely through South-South cooperation.
